SG 01: Concrete Socket Base

The concrete socket base provides a fast, easy and secure mount point for our range of SlickGuard posts on concrete slab environments.

Typically secured to the floor by means of an M16 drop-in ground anchor.

Features:

• Reversible threaded stud.
• Anchor fixings can be pre-drilled or pre-cast into slab for faster installation.
• Durable steel construction.
• Galvanized finish as standard.

SG 02: Standard Post

Provides secure support for 1.2m high SlickGuard Standard Mesh Panels. Must have installed suitable socket, clamp or bracket to allow post attachment.

Features:

• Auto locking panel latch provides faster and more secure installation.
• Link Bar latches provided as standard.
• Can be converted into a full height system with addition of Adaptor post.
• Durable steel construction.
• Galvanized finish as standard.

SG 03: Standard Mesh Panel 2.6M

The main edge protection panel in the SlickGuard range which provides 1.2m high edge protection when used in conjunction with suitable posts, sockets, clamps or brackets.

Panel requires prior installation of two supporting posts.

Features:

• Close mesh panel for increased debris protection and blown litter dispersal.
• Ridgid 275mm toeboard for floor level debris protection.
• Toeboard provides corporate styling/advertising opportunity.
• Corner handles for ease of lifting/positioning.
• Post mounting adjustment holes.
• Durable steel construction.
• Red powder coated finish as standard.

SG 04: Swivel Link Bar 2.6M

Provides the facility to remove the standard panels when working at the edge whilst still retaining the statutory edge protection requirement.

Features:

• Provides minimum statutory level of protection.
• Retractable telescopic design provides ease of transport and storage.
• Unique swivelling endplate design can be used on stairway systems.
• Can be used to provide simple crowd control, site/hazard demarcation and walkway solutions when combined with the SlickGuard range.
• Easily installed.
• Durable steel construction.

SG 05: Adaptor Post (Type A)

Converts the Standard Post to enable full height protection up to 3.1m. Designed for use in concrete slab enviornments only.

Adaptor Post requires the prior installation of the Standard Post and suitable sokcet, clamp or bracket for the working environment.

Features:

• Total full height edge protection.
• Allows upper panels to remain in place when lower panels are removed.
• Retractable design provides smaller storage footprint.
• Auto locking latches as standard.
• All locking pins secured by chains to prevent loss.

SG 10: Panel Stillage

Specially designed stillage for the storage and transportation of SlickGuard barrier panels. Will store both 1.3M and 2.6M variants.

SG 11: Primary Aluminium Beam Clamp

Provides a secure mount point for the installation of SlickGuard Edge Protection on primary beam aluminium formwork.

Two types of clamp are required for use with alu-formwork, this clamp is designed to be attached to the primary or lower beams of the formwork.

SG 19: Full Height Post

Provides a one piece full height solution for supporting SlickGuard Edge Protection panels.

Features:

• Visual tension safety indicator allows correct tensioning of the post and provides a quick visual health check for inspection purposes.
• Secondary position hook allows upper panel to remain in place whilst providing 300mm upper edge access.
• One piece, advanced telescoping design with minimal footprint.
• Easy to install, remove and re-position and store.
• All locking pins are secured to the post to prevent loss.
• Auto-locking latches for faster installation, link bar latches as standard.
• Grip plates allow for additional fixing if needed. (Fixing not required in typical installations)

SG 20: Concrete Slab Clamp

The Slab Clamp provides a non-destructive secure fixing solution for concrete slab environments.

Clamp will accomodate slab depths from 100mm - 600mm.

• Non-destructive, easily installed, removed and re-positioned.
• Unique adjustment spacer for fast lock and release action.
• Sliding jaw accomodates various slab thicknesses.

SG 22: I-Beam Clamp

Enables the use of SlickGuard Edge Protection systems on structural steelwork environments.

Clamp accomodates I-Beam flange widths from 250mm - 600mm and I-beam heights up to 1M.

Features:

• Easily copes with floor overhangs and differing floor heights.
• Non-destructive, easily installed, removed and re-positioned.
• All locking pins are secured to the clamp to prevent loss.

SG 23: Footplate

Provides alternative non-destructive easy method of installation for SlickGuard Edge Protection Sytems. Also allows adaption of SlickGuard for other uses.

Can be secured using fixing holes in baseplate.

• Folded steel baseplate construction for strength, stability and rigidity.
• Suitable for various applications - crowd control, site/hazard demarcation and walkway.
• Fixing holes allow for securing of footplate to ground.
• Durable steel construction.

SG 25: External Fixing Bracket

Allows external fixing of SlickGuard Full Height Edge Protection. The bracket places the whole system outside of the building enabling full slab edge access. Designed for use with a modified Full Height Post.

Requires the use of the Collector Tray to prevent falling debris.

Features:

• Allows external mounting of Full Height System.
• Fixings can be pre-cast into slab edge to enable faster installation.
• Adjustable outset to allow for overhangs or protrusion of latches into building cavity.
• Durable steel construction.

SG 27: Lift Shaft Gate

Allows the forming shaft to be protected by SlickGuard yet still accessable as needed for authorized personnel. Gate can be left or right opening as needed.

Requires the installation of a suitable SlickGuard Edge Protection System.

• Left or right gate mounting options.

SG 28: Adaptor Post (Type B)

Converts the Standard Post to enable full height protection up to 3.8m. Designed for use in concrete slab enviornments only.

SG 29: Slab Edge Bracket

The Slab Edge Bracket allows posts to be mounted at the slab edge with little to no encroachment on the working surface of the slab.

Typically secured to the slab edge by means of a Thunderbolt type fixing.

Features:

• Provides Maximum access to the slab surface.
• Two mounting positions to allow flexibility of system mounting.
• Two variable fixing slots to avoid hitting rebar.
• Durable steel construction.

SG 31: Consul Bracket

Consul Brackets allow SlickGuard Edge Protection to be affixed to a forming concrete wall by hooking into the top of the wall as it's being constructed. Also provides safe working platform for working at height.

Allows two protection fronts one at the upper wall edge and one on the lower working platform edge.

Features:

• Protection on two levels both working platform and upper wall edge.
• Provides mounting for scaffolding boards to be used as a platform/walkway.
• Affixed to forming wall via a disposable sheath over the mounting pin.
• Durable steel construction.
• Galvanized finish as standard.

SG 49: Collector Tray

The collector tray is for use with the External Fixing Bracket only. It is designed to close the gap produced by mounting SlickGuard externally.

Secures to the lower panel to prevent floor debris from exiting the working area.

• Secure attachment to lower panel prevents loosening.
• Stops floor level debris from exiting working area.

FB 2: Fitting Bin
